Due to the social aspects of the architecture discipline, I am particularly interested in how architectural design and regional planning can impact the welfare of specific groups of people. Since starting as a freshman in architectural school, I have actively engaged in social activities related to rural revitalization and urban renewal. Additionally, I have participated in several voluntary organizations, contributing to the public’s education in architectural knowledge.

I first became acquainted with the Rural Revitalization Center through my participation in The First Rural Innovative Talent Training Program, an opportunity I was honored to join.
Since then, I have actively participated in social initiatives four times. Conducting site visits, interviewing villagers, and performing technical data analysis to explore rural industries, village spatial structures, and energy consumption has provided me with a deeper understanding of rural development strategies and their potential for optimization.

2023-2024, Minister of Volunteer and Rights Service Center (Department of Graduate Student Association, School of Architecture, Southeast University)
From rural revitalization to community building, from college activities to the Rural Revitalization Center, I have transitioned from a participant to an organizer. Through these diverse and multifaceted experiences in volunteering, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of volunteer service from multiple perspectives and dimensions. Therefore, upon entering the graduate stage, I decided to run for the head of the Volunteer and Rights Service Center. I hope to engage in public welfare from a more macro perspective and contribute to social construction with my professional knowledge and dedication to public service.

- Organized 838 volunteer participations, completed the initiation of 34 volunteer service projects, and hosted two series of online aesthetic classes for children in rural areas,
- Launched an online document titled “Comprehensive Guide to Procedures” to address common procedural challenges faced by teachers and students in their learning and work processes. The document received 264 visits and 1,333 views,
- Established contact with the three cafeterias on the Sipailou campus and held discussion meetings. Completed a survey report based on 119 valid questionnaires with over 100 opinions from students,
- Identified 98 rights issues and provided direct feedback and communication with relevant responsible persons from the university’s functional departments.

2018-2021, Little Architects (A Volunteer Organization)
I initially joined the “Little Architects” volunteer organization because I wanted to experience the energy and vitality of children in my spare time. As architecture is a discipline full of creativity, I also hoped to be inspired by the ideas of the children. Additionally, conducting research in Nanjing’s communities every weekend gave me a deeper understanding of urban residents’ lives. In these three years, I:
- Took a leading role in the organization from 2019 to 2021, managing daily activities and coordinating volunteers,
- Participated in a volunteer teaching program in Gaomang Village, Guizhou Province,
- Organized over 20 community activities in Nanjing, helping children actively learn about architectural knowledge.

During the summer holiday of 2018, I traveled to Gaomang Village in Guizhou Province for volunteer teaching. Our team first interviewed several renowned architects to understand their perspectives on aesthetic education in Chinese rural areas. In the village, we not only taught classes as temporary teachers, sharing basic architectural knowledge, but also designed and constructed a real library for the local children. Throughout this process, we learned traditional logging methods and the joinery techniques of wooden architecture. Additionally, we engaged the children in painting the walls, making the project a collaborative and educational experience.

2018-2019, Courtyard Architecture Studio (Member)
I participated in the college’s team-led innovation and entrepreneurship program, igniting the spark of rural revitalization through architecture construction. The operational model of the studio is (public cooperation) government + (support and help) villagers + (teaching opportunities) schools, establishing a Rural Revitalization Studio Alliance to achieve mutually beneficial cooperation. In this project, I was involved in:
- Conducting case studies in villages such as Dacang Village and Jinggangshang Village,
- Writing the business plan and preparing the reports.

HOBBIES
Apart from my passion for public welfare, I have a deep love for photography and travel. I enjoy capturing the beautiful moments of life through images, freezing unforgettable memories in photographs. Additionally, I have a fondness for baking, playing badminton and others. Leading a vibrant and varied lifestyle ensures that I have ample energy and a positive mindset to dedicate to my research work.
